Field Sales Agent – Basic plus Commissions

HomeSecure is a 100% Irish-owned and managed company, which has been in the security business for over a decade. HomeSecure specialise in supplying and installing burglar alarms and systems to residential premises, from apartments and suburban homes to isolated farmhouses, and the houses of high net worth individuals. We also offer alarm and monitoring solutions for small commercial products. We have collaborated with the highly prestigious Chubb Ireland to monitor all of our customers.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Field Sales Agents for a D2D Sales Team for in our Dublin region, covering the greater Dublin area.

The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated with Field Sales experience. Excellent Salary + Commission. Salary DOE.

This role demands someone who has a performance-driven personality with experience in Door-to-Door Sales or a customer service capacity. If you are highly target-driven with strong and recent experience sales experience with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering on expectations this could be the role for you.

Previous sales experience in the Security sector is an advantage but not compulsory. The route to market will be in a residential capacity, developing and closing your own leads. This will be very different from any sales activity that or any other security company have conducted before. Successful candidates will be operating relatively autonomously receiving a basic wage plus extremely good commissions.

Depends On Experience + Commission


  • Partner up with the Sales Director to grow this channel from scratch
  • Hiring and mentoring of new agents
  • Driving team performance
  • Responsible for Team costs / budgets to ensure they are aligned with business targets
  • Working closely with Sales Director on all future team planning
  • Report directly into Sales Director on a daily/weekly basis
  • Ensuring a high level of compliance within the team
  • Working with key stakeholders of the business to ensure completion of sales
  • Report areas of non-adherence to Sales Director
  • Collate competitor information on behalf of team and suggest actions
  • Accompaniments with agents on Weekly/Monthly basis
  • Attend weekly management meetings on team's performance
  • Any ad-hoc duties deemed necessary


 Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven ability to work to strict targets to help achieve the team objectives
  • Proven ability to motivate a team of field representatives
  • Ability to take direction and implement company strategy when required
  • Considerable attention to detail required
  • Proven ability to work in a self-directed and organised manner
  • Excellent numerical skills an advantage
  • Experience of working with a Customer Relationship Management system beneficial
  • Utilities or electricity specific background advantageous
